Link Your Depop Account
Why and how to link your Depop account to Resellify
When you first use Resellify, you'll be asked to link your Depop account. This is a one-time setup step that connects your Depop identity to your Resellify account.
Why Is This Required?
Linking your Depop account helps us:
Keep your account secure — Only you can use Resellify with your Depop shop.
Prevent abuse — It ensures each Resellify account is tied to a real Depop seller, keeping the platform fair for everyone.
Personalize your experience — We can show your Depop username and profile picture throughout the extension.
One Depop account per Resellify account. Each Depop account can only be linked to one Resellify account. If you need to change your linked Depop account, please contact support.
How It Works
Linking is automatic and takes just one click:
Log in to Depop — Make sure you're signed into your Depop account in the same browser where Resellify is installed.
Open Resellify — Open the extension by clicking the Resellify icon or via the floating menu on any Depop page.
Confirm your account — Resellify will automatically detect your logged-in Depop account and show your username and profile picture.
Click "Link Account" — That's it! Your Depop account is now linked.
No passwords shared. Resellify never asks for your Depop password. We detect your logged-in session directly from your browser — the same session you use when browsing Depop normally.
After Linking
Once linked, you'll have full access to all Resellify features. Your linked Depop account will be shown on your Profile page inside the extension.
Troubleshooting
"Depop account not detected"
If Resellify can't detect your Depop account:
Check that you're logged into Depop — Visit depop.com and make sure you're signed in.
Refresh the page — Navigate to any Depop page and wait for it to fully load, then try opening Resellify again.
Check your browser — Resellify needs to be installed in the same browser where you're logged into Depop.
"This Depop account is already linked to another Resellify account"
This means someone has already linked this Depop account to a different Resellify account. Each Depop account can only be connected to one Resellify account.
If this is your account:
Make sure you're logging into the correct Resellify account (check your email).
If you previously created a Resellify account with a different email, try logging in with that email instead.
If you believe this is an error, please contact support and we'll help resolve it.
"Failed to link Depop account"
If linking fails unexpectedly:
Try again — It may be a temporary network issue. Wait a moment and click "Link Account" again.
Check your connection — Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
Update Resellify — Ensure you're running the latest version of the extension.

FAQ
Can I change my linked Depop account?
Linking is a one-time operation for security reasons. If you need to change your linked Depop account (e.g., you changed your Depop username or created a new shop), please reach out to us on Discord and we'll help you update it.
Does linking share my Depop password?
No. Resellify reads your existing browser session — the same login you already use when browsing Depop. Your Depop password is never accessed or stored by Resellify.
What if I have multiple Depop accounts?
Each Depop account needs its own Resellify account. You cannot link multiple Depop accounts to a single Resellify account.
